+ del Bankrupcy de Delphi

Publicado el día de Hoy, Delphi se protegio ya contra la quiebra, sus acciones bajaron hasta 0.33 dlls (33 centavos de dollar).
" DELPHI STOCK PRICE PLUNGES TO 33 CENTS AS
INVESTORS BAIL".

Shares in Delphi Corp. plunged 71%
in extremely heavy trading yesterday, closing at 33 cents
as investors reacted to last weekend’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy
filing.
Shares in the Troy, Mich.-based supplier began the
year at $9.02. They were at $2.76 at the beginning of
October. Nearly 325 million shares sold yesterday—about
33 times the average volume over the past three months.
Delphi’s bad news also helped drag down the stock
price of its former owner, General Motors Corp., yesterday.
GM shares dropped $2.81 to $25.48 after the
automaker acknowledged that Delphi’s bankruptcy could
generate up to $11 billion in cost for GM, mostly for
pensions and other benefits of Delphi retirees.
